This memorial page is to honor and remember our departed brother Joshua Edward Weldona.k.a. "Shakz". He was born in California on May 6, 1974 and passed away from a accidential drug overdose on October 2, 2009 at the very young age of 35. Josh was very well liked and loved among his friends and family. He was also a very talented accomplished 'Punk Rock Singer/Musician, his band's name ironically was called: 'Dead 89', unto this day his genuine singing voice & heart felt, self styled punk rock lyrics lives on in the memories of all his band mates and the dedicated fans of his notable music legacy that which he leaves behind for all to remember him by. He made his musical imprint upon the world whereby his name will go on to live forever therein the pages of local punk rock infamy. He grew up in Garden Grove, California where he spent much of his entire life. He lived life on his own terms and he lived it to the fullest, he was an outgoing freespirited person who loved doing his own thing, his smile and good cheer will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He was a loving father to the children he brought into this world. He was also known among his peers by the nickname "Shakz". All who knew him would certainly agree that when it came to his "Punk Rock" lifestyle and love for the music; he walked the walk, and talked the talk. He is survived by his beloved children and family members.
